1. Who we are
Ready Set China (readysetchina.com) is an independent travel information website offering free tools and verified information for travellers visiting China. By using this site you agree to these terms.
2. Not a travel agency
Ready Set China is not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking agent. We do not sell, book, resell or broker any travel services — no flights, hotels, tours, tickets, visas or reservations of any kind. We provide information and link to third-party services; any transaction you make happens directly with that third party under their terms. We are not affiliated with any government.
3. Information, not advice
Content on this site is general information, not legal, immigration, medical or financial advice. Visa policies, prices and entry requirements change frequently. Every page shows the date its information was last verified and links to official sources — always confirm with those official sources or your nearest Chinese embassy or consulate before booking travel or making decisions. Your travel decisions remain your own responsibility.
4. Affiliate links
Some outbound links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase — at no extra cost to you. Pages containing affiliate links carry a disclosure. Our tool recommendations are computed from price and plan data, never from commission rates.
5. Paid products
Some products on this site (such as the China Travel Dossier) are one-time digital purchases. Payment is processed by Creem, our merchant of record, under their checkout terms; we never see or store your card details. Delivery is digital and immediate: a web page tied to your purchase link plus a downloadable PDF. By purchasing you ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that, where a statutory cooling-off or withdrawal right for digital content applies to you, beginning that delivery waives it. A paid product is still information, not advice, and section 2 applies in full — it includes no bookings, tickets or reservations of any kind. If your purchase fails to generate, can't be accessed, or differs materially from its description, email support@readysetchina.com with your receipt and we'll make it right — a corrected re-issue, or a refund where appropriate; we usually respond within a few business days. Refunds are processed by Creem to your original payment method.
6. Acceptable use
You may use this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not scrape the site at abusive rates, attempt to disrupt it, or republish substantial portions of our content or datasets without permission.
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ready Set China is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its information, including decisions about travel, visas or purchases from third parties.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date above reflects the latest revision; continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
